This ride will take us by the interesting Bishop Castle in the beautiful San Isabel National Forest.  We'll stop for a little bit to visit this unique family construction project, and if we’re lucky we might see its constructor, Mr. Jim Bishop still doing his thing.  The lunch stop is in Walsenburg where, although a small town, has many typical fast food places, but also has some unique restaurants and cafes.

For those that are doing the CVR-50 Pass challenge, we’ll be going over 6 passes (denoted by the letters B, C, E, G, H, and I on the map below), so don’t forget your cameras.  Location D on the map is Bishop's Castle.

We’ll meet at Einstein Brother’s Bagels on the corner of Constitution and Powers at 8:30 for a departure time of 9:00.  If we have time, we’ll end the ride at Southside Johnny’s in downtown Colorado Springs.
