| I'm making a last minute ride to bag Raton and Cucharas Passes tomorrow November 23, 2011 if anyone wants to join. Got a day off!! Should be an excellent day - sunny skies and little wind. Get to use my new Garmin Zumo 550!
Round trip is 355 miles.
I'm gassing up at the Conoco at Powers and Constitution and be grabbing a quick bite for breakfast at Einstein's Bagels. Will leave promptly at 09:00 AM. Should be near I-25 and Academy interchange about 09:20 AM.
Powers south to Proby/Drennan/Academy to I-25 to Raton Pass / NM/CO Border Truck Weigh Station. Back down to Trinidad (gas up), maybe lunch, and onto CO 12. Will probably stop at Coke Ovens to take a few pictures. Will stop at Cucharas Pass for pictures. Then down the pass to Cuchara, La Veta, back to Walsenburg, then home to Colorado Springs.

PS I ride like an old' lady; very slow and to the speed limit. At my age, I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere real soon.
