Get ready to ride to beautiful Woodland Park, Colorado for the 3rd Annual Protecting the American Dream Bike Rally. The Woodland Retail Alliance (WRA) announced today the rally planning is under way with lots of fun and rides planned for the three day event. Friday, July 24, 2009: Special golf tournament at Shining Mountain Golf Course – experience rocky mountain golf. Ms. Woodland Park Bike Rally Contest Friday night at the Crystola Roadhouse with live music.
Saturday, July 25, 2009: Opening ceremonies and line up for Bike Parade up Highway 67 and through Woodland Park, food & coffee will be available. Several Poker Runs and Special Rides kick off, offering various rides through some of the most scenic mountain roads, including Cripple Creek, Deckers, and Wilkerson Pass. Local businesses, restaurants, and bars will feature live music, bike shows, and other fun events. Vendors will offer their wares with street parking around Memorial Park, Downtown Woodland Park.
Sunday, July 26, 2009: Closing ceremonies Hawgs for Hounds ride planned by the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS).
