While we named this after Sgt. Michael Clark, who was KIA while in Iraq, it is a ride to honor all Ft. Carson soldiers and families who have sacrificed for our freedom. The plan is a bit different from last year, we will meet at 8 am at C-470 and Morrison exit Conoco Station. Head west for a fun 3.5-4hr ride ending at the Memorial Wall at the main gate to Ft. Carson. After a short visit, we can get a late lunch. After lunch we can take another route winding us through the mountains on way back to the Denver area via Woodland Park, Deckers and Pine or head straight home depending on our destination.
