CVR-50 PASS

You've already distinguished yourself from the pack by purchasing a Victory.  Now distinguish yourself from all the rest.

We're looking for the adventurer.  That individual personality who not only chose a motorcycle, but lives the life and seeks to explore beyond the confines of their traditional world.  Are you that rare personality who lives for adventure and seeks out the journey beyond the destinations?  Then set yourself apart by joining the CVR-50 Pass and come earn your wings with us!

What is the CVR-50 PASS?
The Colorado Victory Riders (CVR) 50 Pass is a recognition program awarded to those motorcycle pilots that ride their Victory over at least fifty different Colorado mountain passes.  To earn their wings a rider must complete the official 50 Pass Mountain Log Book which chronicles a rider's accomplishment through the program.

Is the CVR-50 PASS a contest?
No, it's an achievement award.  It's simply a way for us to recognize a true rider and certify their willingness to ride.

Are There even 50 passes in Colorado?
Yes.  Actuallly, there are more than fifty Colorado Passes.

Is this a timed event?
We didn’t want to interfere with an individuals desire to ride by creating 24 hour time constraints that they had to adhere to.  You do it in your own time frame, safely!  Earn your wings in a single ride season or over several; it's your decision.

How do I register?
First, you must own a Victory motorcycle.  Then just register here, online, at the Colorado Victory Riders Association website.  There's a fifty dollar entry fee for all participants.  You register and pay the fee by clicking the PayPal link at the bottom of this page.

Ok I registered online, now what?
In four to six weeks you will receive a CVR-50 Pass participant package which will include a hardbound 50 Pass Mountain Log Book and a guardian bell for your Victory motorcycle.

What is in the CVR-50 PASS Mountain Log book?
The log book is a requirement and must be completed before your wings are authorized to you.  It will house the ride detail of the fifty+ different mountain passes you could ride over.  Additionally, the book has several ride checklists to ensure you have everything you need to ride before any departure; plus details on fifty+ well known mountain passes in Colorado and the maps as to where they are located within the state.

What ride detail is required?
In the log book are fifty+ pages.  On each page you are required to give the name of the pass, the date, and affix a required photograph.

A picture of what?
Each mountain pass has an official marker; some are easier to find than others.  The picture has to include three things: 1) the mountain pass marker, 2) you, and 3) your Victory motorcycle.  Make sure to take several shots because if we can’t read the sign clearly, see you and the bike, you will not get credit for the effort!  Below are a few sample photos.

Sample A - Provided by Sonda and Nathan Baxter of Wolfforth, TX.  Great shot and meets the requirement.

Sample B - Provided by John and Dee Rollins of Castle Rock, Colorado.  While a good shot, it would fail because there is no bike present.

Remember folks, the bike, you, and the sign must all be in the same photograph!

For those passes that don't have a marker, we will accept a picture of a GPS screen showing the coordinates so we may compare them with the coordinates we have.

My CVR-50 PASS Log book is complete; now what?
If you're ready to move on and your log book is complete, contact one of our ride coordinators, or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it us and let us know.  We will arrange a time to meet and review your book and authorize your award!

What do I receive for completing the CVR-50 PASS?
Fame and fortune of course; just kidding!  Actually, you will receive a pin and patch with your wings, plus you receive a gift at the first Rocky Mountain Freedom Rally held after you are authenticated by a ride coordinator.  Additionally you will be recognized on the C-VRA 50 Pass Hall of Fame webpage and by the Victory Riders Association home website.

Remember, the only time you will see this logo anywhere is if it is on a rider who has accomplished the same as you!
